Bird Of Paradise Intensive!
A 4-part workshop intensive for pole dancers who want to advance in their strong and bendy tricks

Do you want that bird of paradise?
No matter how easy people on the internet make it look, bird of paradise and pole tricks similar are ADVANCED movements. This was a trick that took me over a decade to nail down consistently. I find that it's barely ever taught in class because of how technical it is, and I receive so many requests to teach this movement. This is a BIG movement, so I'll be bringing you over 15-years of pole experience to help you nail down your bird of paradise, and work on movements similar in strength and flexibility like the twisted sister (more splitty and strong tricks TBD).
Here's what you can expect during this 4-part series:
- Weekly live classes every Saturday from Noon -1:15pm PST. These live classes will be a combination of mobility work, cross-training and conditioning on the pole. The classes will happen on Saturday, January 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th.
- Step-by-step progressions so you can accurately track your progress on a weekly basis. This is also so you can do the movements SAFELY!!
- A community page where you can share your progress, ask questions, and receive additional feedback on advanced movements.
- Weekly homework and personalized weekly feedback with check-ins from yours truly to make sure that you're staying on top of your goals!
YES! If you can't make the live classes, there will be recordings that you can watch so you can still receive feedback!

BOP Intensive Schedule
During this 4-part, month long series you'll receive live instruction with personalized feedback from me on a weekly basis so you can prepare your body for the bird of paradise and more intensive tricks.
Week 1 (1/4/25)
Anatomy, Training Philosophy, Setting Expectations, Programming Goals
**Everyone will receive a pole tricks planner that will help you account for your cross-training, conditioning, practice time, rest and recovery.**
Week 2 (1/11/25)
Increasing range of motion while building strength in the air.
Weekly progress check-ins
Week 3 (1/18/25)
Dialing in cross-training and mobility off the pole
Weekly progress check-ins
Week 4 (1/25/25)
Tips and tricks to make bird of paradise, twisted sister, and other advanced strong and bendy movements (TBD depending on where most of the class is) feel easier long term.
Additional transitions in/out of these tricks
Final progress check-ins and building plans on where to go moving forward

This 4-part intensive is for you if:

You've been trying to do your bird of paradise (and movements similar to this) but can't quite figure out the correct mechanics to hold it.

You're working on getting stronger and confident in your bird of paradise so you can eventually add it into combinations and routines with ease.

You would consider yourself an intermediate/advanced pole dancer and can comfortably do movements like butterfly and ayesha. You can also (or are close to getting) your splits on the ground!

You're a pole instructor who wants to feel confident teaching this movement to students SAFELY.
